Make a new tradition.

happy_thanksgivingHappy Thanksgiving weekend everyone. I wish you health, happiness, comfort, love and friendship. I always like to reminisce on the things that I am very thankful for when this time of year rolls around. I am thankful that I have my health when there are so many people suffering. I am thankful that I have food to eat when I know that not everyone in the world shares this privilege. I am thankful for the ever flowing fountain of forgiveness and love that I receive daily from my partner. I am thankful for freedom of thought and the people around me who are kind and generous without needing to be guided by a “holy” book. I am thankful that you have taken the time to read my blog and take part in my creative journey.

While I may not be partaking in the traditional turkey & glutinous gorging that customarily comes along with the 2nd weekend in October; I am feeling rather nostalgic as I think back on previous Thanksgiving weekend spent with family and friends. So, as my thank you gift to you, turn up that imaginary radio dial and walk on the sunny side of the street.

  1. Happy belated T(of)urkey day to you too 🙂 Sorry we couldn’t come out to your place that night, Melanie had her own shindig and we were there rather late.

  2. Thanks!! Yes, I harmonized with myself there. I was thinking of adding more – but each time I played it for someone they made a cute reaction as if the second voice surprised them (pleasantly), so I left it.

    There will be other dinners!!
    k.
