Is it an overzealous goal to assume that one such as I (with my so-called “workaholic” nature) could commit to getting a single crafty thing done each week?
Does it stop one such as I from making such a claim?
This week, I am going to make a cozy for my water bottle. Upon hearing that my own hard-plastic water bottle was none too good for me, I decided to start using a milk bottle. Unfortunately, glass + concrete floors has proven to be a disastrous combination for k. After tipping over my bottle again tonight (and waiting with held breath for the inevitable shattering sound), I think that this is a timely and useful craft. We’ll see how it goes. I’m just going to use “random” left over yarn, since I don’t really care what it looks like.

Not 100% happy with it, but it does the job. I used some yarn that really wasn’t any good for anything else but a scarf – and it shows. My stiches are kinda wonky, and I cut the bottom out of it when I wasn’t happy with it rather than unknotting it.
As a first project, it kinda blows – but that’s ok. No where to go but up.
